As a nurse, you are resilient. It’s who you are. During the COVID-19 pandemic, you may have experienced different levels of emotional trauma. We acknowledge that it’s been hard, and only nurses and other health care workers can truly understand what it’s like.
In these difficult times, we think it’s important for nurses to hear from one another and to know that they are not alone. So, the Keener team is launching Keener Cares -- a content series dedicated to inspiring nurses through real and authentic stories. Nurses’ stories are powerful because they can provide reflection and healing.
We want to hear your story. Would you like to share? The best way to share is to call us at 1-629-777-5756 and leave us a voicemail.
We’re specifically interested in you answering the following question: How do you detach from work during this difficult time of the pandemic?
Four things to remember when you leave us a voicemail:
1) Tell us who you are: When leaving a voicemail, please leave your first and last name, where you're from, what type of nurse you are, and what nurse role you have worked during COVID. That way the nurse listeners can know a little more about you.
2) Keep it brief: We’re looking for voicemails around 1-2 minutes. We hope other nurses can listen to your brief message when they need to uplift their spirit.
3) No Speakerphone: The best sound comes from when you talk directly into your phone like you’re talking to a real person.
4) And if you can't leave a voicemail: You can always record a voice memo on your phone, and send it to us at content@keenerapp.com. Just make sure to tell us what prompt the voice memo is for in the email description.
By submitting your content, you give Keener your permission to share this content publicly via Keener's social media channels, email, or app. Please ensure your voicemail follows HIPAA guidelines.
While we'd love to use every submission, all content is reviewed and selected for use by our editorial team. If we want to talk to you further, we might contact you for additional information. We can’t wait to hear what you have to say.
